Make your plans for New Year’s Eve and come see Steel Magnolias

Make your plans for New Year’s Eve now! Director Sam Estrada brings the much-loved “Steel Magnolias” back to the BLT stage for the annual New Year’s Eve show. The play will open Dec. 31 with a special New Year’s Eve performance at 8 p.m. at the Lee College Performing Arts Center black box theater. Tickets are $50 each and include a meal and a midnight champagne toast.

Additional performances at the usual ticket price of $15 and without the extras will be at 8 p.m. Jan. 2, 8 and 9 and at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 3 and 10, also at the black box theater. For tickets or further information, click ‘Buy Tickets’ or call 281-424-7617.

The Unexpected Guest Opens Tonight, November 6th

The Unexpected Guest, written by Agatha Christie, and directed by Randy Daily, opens tonight, November 6th.  Be sure and get your tickets to this murder/mystery now!

A thriller as well as a puzzler set in a foggy estate in Wales, this mystery opens as a stranger walks into a house to find a man murdered and his wife standing over him with a gun. But the woman is dazed and her confession is unconvincing. The unexpected guest decides to help her and blame the murder on an intruder. Later, the police discover clues that point to a man who died two years previously and a Pandora’s box of love and hate, suspicion and intrigue is opened in the night air.
