Jan was a legal assistant for the City of Baytown's legal department and has been retired for 8 years. She has been with the BLT for almost 40 years and has done everything she could find to try - from props, lights, sound, and costuming to acting, directing, and assistant directing. She loves that community theater is a family affair, or a place to find your family, and that we can find a place - and a job - for pretty much anyone.
Jan got married at the original theater in Lakewood while directing her first show and danced onstage in Rumors when she was five months pregnant. Now, she’s directing Bright Ideas in August - her first full-length production in 25 years. Please come!
